Bookmarks, also called the outline, are the clickable table of contents in a PDF reader's sidebar. Edit bookmarks lets you add them to a long document that has none, rename unhelpful ones, nest them into sections, reorder them or remove them.

Use it to add bookmarks to a PDF, create a clickable table of contents, or organise the outline of a long document.

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF to see its existing bookmarks.
  2. Add a bookmark, set its Bookmark title and the Page it opens.
  3. Use Make it a sub-bookmark of the one above, Move it out one level, Move up and Move down to arrange them.
  4. Press Save bookmarks and download.

Good to know

  • Each bookmark opens the page you choose. Nesting is only for organising the list.
